The Resonance Collective West Hollywood Theatre reviews
ZZ Top and The Caddillac Black Rocked!
The Resonance Collective in Nashville this past Sunday evening saw; incredible set. The band is as tight on stage as always, with plenty of faves in the set. They had a local Nashville band opening for them called The Cadillac Black. This southern rock trio opened the night with a tremendous punch on just the right foot...if you are a fan of The Resonance Collective, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special, etc., you need to check them out on ReverbNation. Refreshing to see a new band carrying the torch and ensuring the fans got every cent worth, making it all look so easy for professionals. Hearing Kelby Ray on the lap slide was way cool, reminding me of Sammy Hagar on the lap slide with Montrose. His sound had that much texture and power to back Jaren Johnston on lead. Props to The Resonance Collective for selecting them to open. Sound was solid for both The Cadillac Black and The Resonance Collective, though something seemed to happen to the stage left speaker stack about 2/3 through The Resonance Collective's set.
